Betty’s Bistro
case study
Problem
New Seabury Country Club wanted to update their menu in the Snack Bar to something more modern and fun. They painted the wall with Chalkboard Paint and my canvas was created.
Solution & Impact
After working there for 16 years, I felt that the Snack Bar needed to be dedicated to Elizabeth Nickerson (Betty). She had worked there for 20+ years.
I measured and layed out the design on paper first. Deciding where each menu item should go. After my beginning sketches, I lightly started to draw on the chalkboard.
I used chalkboard markers that could be erased and updated but would not come off too easily.
