Problem

Our mission was to create a brand from the ground up. First we would need to go out to stores and see how items are branded and advertised currently. Then, we needed to conclude how we would do our marketing and branding differently to stand out from the other products. We would need to create branding guidelines for our products and well as packaging.  Including all fonts, graphics, colors, we would aslo need to build a brand book and website to go with the product. 

Solution & Impact

I created a brand called Retreat that was a VR escape (before VR was actually a real thing). The slogan was “A sensory escape”. The idea was that moms could put on the glasses for a 5 minute escape to recenter and gather their thoughts. 

After researching similar products, I chose the color palette to cater to women that were 18-40. 

The logo design was a play on a map dot going from one place to the next. When creating the package for the glasses, I wanted to play with color and negative space.
